NDLEA Seizes 510 Blocks of Cannabis in Kano Arrest

On March 10, 2026, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kano Strategic Command announced the seizure of 510 compressed blocks of cannabis sativa and the arrest of Mr. Sani Musa, a 34-year-old from Bebeji Local Government Area.

Lawal, the NDLEA state command official, confirmed that Musa admitted to selling the cannabis, which he claimed was meant for a known drug dealer identified as Alaramma. The NDLEA emphasized the ongoing investigation to apprehend Alaramma and assured the public of continued operations to combat drug distribution, especially during festive periods.
