NDLEA Seizes 75,000 Pregabalin Capsules in Kano

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) conducted a significant operation in Kano, resulting in the seizure of 75,000 capsules of Pregabalin, 556 bottles of codeine, and various quantities of cannabis sativa in the Badawa area. This operation was part of the agency's ongoing efforts to disrupt the supply of illicit substances within the state.

A statement issued by the NDLEA's public relations officer, Sadiq Muhammad Maigatari, highlighted the importance of community cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking. The agency noted that a prime suspect in this case remains under close surveillance, and efforts are ongoing to secure an arrest and bring the individual to justice.

The NDLEA commended the public for their continued support and urged residents to provide credible intelligence to aid in combating drug-related crimes.
