NDLEA Arrests Real Estate CEO and Drug Traffickers

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) conducted significant operations leading to the arrest of multiple individuals involved in drug trafficking. On February 16, 2026, Rabi Muhammad, a 35-year-old Kano-based businesswoman, was apprehended at Seme border while attempting to smuggle 3,200 capsules of tramadol concealed in a fake pregnancy strap.

Additionally, on February 12, 2026, the NDLEA arrested Michael Gohouri, a 41-year-old Ivorian national, who ingested 82 wraps of cocaine weighing 1.49 kilograms before boarding an Ethiopian Airlines flight to Milan. Gohouri had arrived in Lagos on January 17, 2026, and was reportedly set to earn $5,000 for the delivery.

Furthermore, Kolapo Oladapo Raji, the chairman and CEO of Tran Fortress Global Resources, was identified as a major drug kingpin and was on the NDLEA watchlist since 2025. His arrest, along with a 68-year-old grandmother linked to the drug distribution ring, highlights the agency's commitment to dismantling drug trafficking networks across Nigeria.
