NDPHC, NCDMB Partner for 10MW Power Supply in Odukpani

The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) to supply a dedicated 10 megawatt (MW) power to the Nigerian Oil and Gas Park located in Odukpani, Cross River State. This collaboration began with the submission of expressions of interest, with a target completion date set for 2025.

A significant engagement took place on February 25, 2026, marking a critical step towards the execution of the project. Emmanuel Ojor, the head of corporate communications at NDPHC, stated that the company will provide the 10MW electricity through Calabar Generation Company Limited.

This dedicated power supply is expected to ensure stable, reliable, and sustainable energy for industrial operations within the park, addressing key constraints in the manufacturing process in Nigeria. The Odukpani park is envisioned as a strategic industrial hub to support downstream oil and gas operations, facilitating the processing and distribution of petroleum products and promoting local manufacturing.
