NDPHC to Supply 10MW Power to Odukpani Oil Park

The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) has announced plans to provide 10 megawatts of electricity to the Odukpani oil park in Cross River State. This initiative is part of a strategic partnership with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and aims to ensure a stable, reliable, and sustainable energy supply for industrial operations within the park.

The project is expected to address key constraints in the manufacturing process and support downstream oil and gas operations. The collaboration began with the submission of expressions of interest, with significant engagements held on February 25, 2026, marking a critical step towards project execution.

The NDPHC will supply electricity through Calabar Generation Company, enhancing local content and reducing dependency on imports. This initiative is anticipated to generate employment opportunities and stimulate small and medium-scale enterprises, contributing to economic growth in Cross River State and aligning with national objectives to accelerate industrialization and improve energy access.
