NEMSA and NDPHC Collaborate to Enhance Power Infrastructure

The Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) and the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) have reaffirmed their commitment to collaborate closely to improve the quality of power infrastructure across Nigeria. This partnership was solidified during a meeting at NDPHC's headquarters in Abuja, attended by NEMSA's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Engr.

Olusegun Adesayo, and NDPHC's Managing Director and CEO, Engr. Jennif Adighij.

Adighij emphasized the urgent need for durable, safe, and standard-compliant infrastructure to tackle Nigeria's persistent electricity challenges and infrastructure deficits. NDPHC, as one of the largest public sector investors in Nigeria's power infrastructure, is focused on transforming substations, transmission lines, and switchyards nationwide.

The collaboration with NEMSA is crucial for modernizing the electrical network and ensuring that power supply is efficient and reliable. NEMSA's regulatory oversight will enforce technical standards and safety compliance throughout the electrical industry, safeguarding lives and properties from substandard materials.
