NECA Advocates for Public-Private Collaboration in Enugu

The Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association (NECA) led by Dr. Ifeanyi Okoy visited Dr.

Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, to discuss enhancing collaboration between the public and private sectors. This visit aimed to strengthen efforts in transforming infrastructure and driving economic reforms in the state.

Dr. Ugochukwu Chime, speaking on behalf of NECA, commended Governor Mbah's visionary leadership and highlighted the administration's investments in road infrastructure, urban renewal, and security.

The delegation praised initiatives such as the recent launch of the Enugu Air and the establishment of a distress response team to address economic disruptions. They emphasized the importance of public-private sector engagement in sustaining growth and development, noting ongoing projects like the Enugu Smart City and tourism development initiatives.

The meeting underscored the central role of the organized private sector in achieving the administration's growth objectives and improving the business environment in Enugu State.
