NEDC Donates 130 Trolleys to Northeast Airports

On Thursday, the Northeast Development Commission (NEDC), led by Managing Director Muhammad Alkali, donated 130 trolleys to six airports across the Northeast region of Nigeria. This donation is part of the NEDC's mandate to support the rebuilding process in areas that have suffered from years of conflict.

The trolleys will be distributed among Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe states, with allocations of 20 trolleys each for Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, and Taraba, and 30 for Borno and Yobe. Additionally, the NEDC provided equipment to the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), including a 5KW transmitter, antennas, computers, and broadcasting tools, to enhance media services in the region.

Abdullahi Maji, Managing Director of FRCN, expressed gratitude for the support, emphasizing the importance of these supplies in improving broadcast hours and service delivery. Fatima Aliyu from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria acknowledged the donation's impact on passenger convenience.
