Tinubu’s Aide Calls Atiku a "Pathetic Liar" on NELFUND

Dada Olusegun, the Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, accused Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), of being a "pathetic liar" concerning his stance on the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). Atiku Abubakar stated that if elected president in 2027, he would review the NELFUND policy, reduce education costs, and provide debt forgiveness for qualifying students.

He emphasized that a student loan is a liability and criticized the current education policy for burdening families with debt. In response, Olusegun alleged that Atiku's university charges between ₦3 million and ₦4.2 million per year from each student, suggesting that Atiku's promises are merely election tactics to gain votes.
