NELFUND Exonerates Unilorin Over Student Illegal Deductions, Backlog to Be Cleared Soon

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has exonerated the University of Ilorin in Kwara State from allegations of illegal student deductions. Mustapha Iyal, the Executive Director of Operations at NELFUND, confirmed that the university is in good standing and that the backlog of pending tranches will be cleared within the week.

Dr. Alex Akanmu, the Director of Student Affairs at the University of Ilorin, refuted the claims of involvement in student illegal deductions, attributing them to misinformation and mischief.

NELFUND's statement nullifies earlier reports and lists of universities involved in the issue.
