NELFUND Extends Student Loan Program Deadline to 2026

The Nigerian Educ Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced an extension of its student loan program for certain institutions, allowing them to submit formal requests for additional time until the 2025/2026 academic session. Mr.

Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, the Director of Strategic Communications at NELFUND, made this announcement in a statement on Thursday. The extension is aimed at enabling eligible students to complete their applications through the NELFUND student loan portal.

Akintunde Sawyerr, the Managing Director of NELFUND, reaffirmed the fund's commitment to ensuring access to the student loan program for eligible Nigerian students. NELFUND encourages affected institutions to take advantage of this extension and complete their applications via the official portal.

The organization reiterated its commitment to transparency and accountability in delivering sustainable financial solutions to remove financial barriers to higher education in Nigeria.
