NELFUND Confirms ₦20,000 Monthly Allowance for Students

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has officially stated that the monthly upkeep allowance for students is still ₦20,000, despite social media reports suggesting it has been raised to ₦25,000. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, the Director of Strategic Communications at NELFUND, emphasized that the organization is committed to providing transparent and efficient support to students.

He advised students to disregard any contrary information that does not come from official NELFUND communication channels. The statement was issued on a Monday, clarifying that the approved monthly upkeep allowance remains at ₦20,000, which is twenty thousand naira.

NELFUND expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation of students and reaffirmed its commitment to delivering focused support nationwide.
