NEMA Provides Relief to Jos Attack Victims in Plateau

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has delivered relief materials to the Plateau State government to assist victims of a deadly attack that occurred in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area, on Palm Sunday. The intervention aims to provide urgent support to affected residents and help them return to normalcy.

Mr. Adebiyi B. Razaq, the North Central Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, presented the relief items at the old government house in Rayfield, Jos.

The federal government approved the relief materials following an assessment conducted by NEMA's operational office in Jos. The supplies include 1,000 bags of 25kg rice, 300 bags of 25kg beans, 165 cartons of spaghetti, and various other food and medical items.

The Plateau State Governor assured that the items would be distributed promptly and transparently to the affected individuals. He commended NEMA for its swift intervention and emphasized the importance of collaboration between agencies and the state government in supporting vulnerable citizens.
