NEMSA and APGC Collaborate to Enhance Power Standards

The Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) and the Association of Power Generation Companies (APGC) have deepened their collaboration to enhance electrical standards and promote efficient power utilization across Nigeria. This commitment was reaffirmed during a courtesy visit by Dr.

Joi Ogaji, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of APGC, to NEMSA's headquarters in Abuja. Dr.

Ogaji commended NEMSA for its critical regulatory role in the Nigerian electricity supply industry, particularly in enforcing technical standards and inspecting electrical installations. She emphasized the need to increase public awareness of NEMSA's activities, especially regarding meter testing and compliance monitoring.

The meeting also proposed establishing regular collaborative engagements between NEMSA and APGC to share knowledge and improve coordination within the power generation sector. Engr.

Olusegun Adesayo, the Managing Director and CEO of NEMSA, welcomed the delegation and reiterated NEMSA's readiness to work closely with APGC stakeholders to ensure compliance with electrical standards and enhance service delivery across the power value chain.
