NEMSA and APGC Collaborate to Enhance Power Standards

The Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) and the Association of Power Generation Companies (APGC) have strengthened their collaboration to enhance electrical standards and promote efficient power utilization across Nigeria. This commitment was reaffirmed during a courtesy visit by Dr.

Joi Ogaji, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of APGC, to NEMSA's headquarters in Abuja. Dr.

Ogaji commended NEMSA for its critical regulatory role in the Nigerian electricity supply industry, particularly in enforcing technical standards and inspecting electrical installations. She highlighted the need to increase public awareness of NEMSA's activities, especially regarding meter testing and compliance monitoring.

Dr. Ogaji proposed establishing regular collaborative engagements between NEMSA and APGC for knowledge sharing and improved coordination within the power generation sector.

Engr. Olusegun Adesayo, the Managing Director and CEO of NEMSA, welcomed the delegation and expressed readiness to work closely with APGC stakeholders to ensure compliance with electrical standards and enhance service delivery across the power value chain.
