NEMSA and FGN Power Strengthen Safety Collaboration

The Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) is reaffirming its commitment to deepen collaboration with the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Power Company to enhance inspection processes and enforce technical standards aimed at promoting safety across Nigeria's power sector. During a visit to the FGN Power Company's headquarters in Abuja, Chief Executive Olusegun Adesayo and Chief Electrical Inspector emphasized that strong institutional collaboration is vital for achieving sustainable growth and improving performance in the electricity industry.

Adesayo noted that working together is crucial for the collective success of the FGN Power Company, which plays a critical role in improving generation capacity and infrastructure. He commended the FGN Power Company for its sustained contributions to the development of Nigeria's electricity value chain and reaffirmed NEMSA's readiness to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship.
