NEMSA and APGC Collaborate to Enhance Electrical Standards

The Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) and the Association of Power Generation Companies (APGC) have strengthened their collaboration to enhance electrical standards in Nigeria. During a visit to NEMSA's headquarters in Abuja, Dr. Joi Ogaji, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of APGC, expressed the need for increased public awareness of NEMSA's activities, particularly in meter testing and compliance monitoring.

NEMSA's spokesperson, Ama Umoren, highlighted the agency's critical regulatory role in enforcing technical standards and ensuring safety and reliability within Nigeria's power infrastructure. Chief Olusegun Adesayo, the Managing Director and CEO of NEMSA, welcomed the delegation and reiterated NEMSA's readiness to work closely with APGC stakeholders to ensure strict compliance with electrical standards, improve operational safety, and enhance service delivery across the power value chain.

The collaboration aims to promote efficient electricity use throughout Nigeria.
