Nenadi Usman Makes History as First Female National Chairman of Nigerian Labour Party

Nenadi Usman, a Senator, is poised to make history by assuming control of the Labour Party's National Secretariat in Abuja, becoming the first female National Chairman of a major political party in Nigeria. The previous occupant, Julius Abur, led a faction until the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) formally recognized Usman's leadership team.

The secretariat, located in the Utako District of Abuja, is now being prepared for the new leadership era under Usman's guidance. Senator Darlington Nwochocha is also prominently involved in mounting activities around the premises to signal the commencement of this new phase for the party.
