New ADC Faction Rejects David Mark's Coalition Leadership

A new faction within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has surfaced, explicitly rejecting the coalition led by Senator David Mark. This faction, represented by Don Norman Obinna, claims to represent the legitimate national executive committee of the party.

They aim to manage the party's affairs leading up to the next national convention, which is scheduled to take place in Abuja. The announcement was made during a briefing on Tuesday.

The faction clarified its status, distancing itself from Ralph Nwosu's faction, which has faced serious litigation due to Nwosu's failure to step down from his position as national vice chairman. The new interim leadership has been appointed to oversee party activities until the national convention is held.

Additionally, Dumebi Kachikwu, a former presidential candidate, is noted as a member of the ADC group.
