Abba Nda Moham Becomes New Kwara NSCDC Commandant

Abba Nda Moham has officially taken over as the 16th Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) at the Kwara State Command, effective from the date of the announcement. He succeeds Bala Bodinga Bawa, who has been redeployed to the NSCDC headquarters in Abuja after serving in Kwara for several months.

Abba brings over two decades of experience in the security profession, having previously held various strategic roles, including serving as the head of the anti-vandal unit in the Niger State Command and leading the counter-terror unit in the Zamfara State Command. Upon assuming office, Abba reaffirmed the Corps' commitment to protecting lives and property, safeguarding critical national assets, and strengthening intelligence-driven operations across Kwara State.

He warned criminal elements, including vandals and economic saboteurs, to steer clear of the state, emphasizing that Kwara will not be a safe haven for criminals. Abba also pledged to enhance collaboration with sister security agencies and relevant stakeholders to sustain peace and security in the state.
