Katsina United Player Ozoh Chinedu Dies During Training

Ozoh Chinedu, a newly signed player for Katsina United Football Club and former player for Kano Pillars, died on August 11, 2026, during a pre-season friendly match against Niger Tornadoes at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina. The incident occurred in the early hours of the day when Chinedu suffered a medical emergency.
