New Oyo Federal Varsity Sets March 6 for Pioneer Student Resumption in 2026

The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology in Oke-Ogun, Oyo State, has scheduled March 6, 2026, for the pioneer student resumption, as announced after a statutory Senate meeting held on February 4, 2025. The institution ratified its academic roadmap for its first-ever cohort of students.

The Registrar, Amuni Moham Olayinka, confirmed the Senate's decision and assured that the university is ready for its historic takeoff. The academic calendar outlines a fast-paced schedule, with lectures commencing on March 23, 2026.

The university plans to wrap up the session by November 30, 2026, with the subsequent session tentatively set to begin on December 14. The Vice-Chancellor, Olaniyi Babayemi, emphasized the institution's mission to produce graduates who are not only academically excellent but also entrepreneurial and technologically savvy.
