NFF Extraordinary General Assembly Commences in Yenagoa

The NFF Extraordinary General Assembly is taking place today in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, where Senator Douye Diri will officially open the assembly at the DSP Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall, Government House. The assembly will see attendance from notable figures including Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Hon.

Bukola Olopade, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, Senator Abdul Ningi, and Hon. Kabiru Amadu, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Sports.

The assembly will gather chairmen and secretaries from football associations across the 36 states and the FCT, as well as members of the NFF Executive Committee, managers, league chairmen, referees, and player unions. During the business session, the congress will deliberate on amendments to the existing NFF statutes, the NFF electoral code, and the standing orders.

Additionally, members will appoint members to the NFF electoral committee and the NFF electoral appeal committee, as well as appoint an independent auditor.
