Yenagoa to Host NFF Extraordinary General Assembly March 2026

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to hold its Extraordinary General Assembly in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, on March 23, 2026. The assembly will be officially opened by the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, at the DSP Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall.

Notable dignitaries expected to attend include Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Hon. Bukola Olopade, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, Senator Abdul Ningi, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Sports, and Hon.

Kabiru Amadu. The assembly will gather chairmen and secretaries of football associations from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, along with members of the NFF Executive Committee, managers, league chairmen, secretaries, coaches, referees, and player unions.

NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau will deliver a welcome address, and the assembly will deliberate on amendments to the existing NFF statutes, the NFF electoral code, and the appointment of members to the NFF electoral committee and appeal committee, as well as an independent auditor. FIFA and CAF will observe the proceedings.
