NFF to Inaugurate Electoral and Appeals Committees Today

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to inaugurate its Electoral and Appeals Committees today at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja. This event follows the formation of the committees during an extraordinary general assembly held last week in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The inauguration will be presided over by NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau. A total of 12 individuals have been appointed to serve on the two committees, with seven members on the Electoral Committee and five on the Appeals Committee.

The Electoral Committee will include a chairperson, a vice chairperson, and three ordinary members, along with two alternates. The Appeals Committee will consist of three full members and two alternates.

These committees are tasked with supervising the electoral process in accordance with the relevant provisions of the NFF statutes, leading up to the elections scheduled for March 23, 2026, during an extraordinary general assembly in Yenagoa. The NFF executive committee elections are set to take place on September 26, 2026, in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
