NFF Offers Justine Madugu Two-Year Deal as Super Falcons Head Coach After WAFCON Triumph

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has awarded Justine Madugu a two-year contract as the head coach of the Super Falcons after their WAFCON triumph. Madugu, who initially served on an interim basis after Randi Waldrum's departure, led the team to their 10th Women's Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco 2024.

Her appointment comes ahead of the team's preparations for WAFCON 2026 qualifiers. Madugu's recognition extends beyond Nigeria, as she was nominated for the 2025 CAF Women's Coach of the Year award.

Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and other key players are expected to play vital roles under Madugu's leadership.
