NHIA Applauds Quadruplet Birth Under Emergency Care Program

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) celebrated the successful delivery of quadruplets at the Federal University Health Sciences Teaching Hospital in Azare under the Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care (CEmONC) program. The mother, Hauwa Usman, gave birth to two boys and two girls via caesarean section.

NHIA representatives commended the hospital staff for the safe delivery and highlighted the importance of access to emergency care for vulnerable populations. The NHIA emphasized the significance of providing free healthcare services to ensure the well-being of mothers and newborns in need of critical medical attention.
