Niger CP Adamu Elleman Decorates 414 New ASPs

On a significant occasion, Niger State Police Commissioner Adamu Abdullahi Elleman decorated 414 newly promoted Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) II at the command headquarters in Dutsen Kura, Minna. This event took place in the presence of senior officers, family members, and invited guests.

The promotions were part of a nationwide elevation of 26,000 inspectors to the rank of ASP II, as confirmed by the Police Service Commission following a successful evaluation by the Departmental Selection Board. Commissioner Elleman described the promotions as a reward for dedication and called for higher responsibility among the officers.

He stressed the importance of professionalism and leadership integrity, reminding the newly promoted officers that their first two years in the rank of ASP II would constitute a probationary period during which their performance would be assessed. Newly promoted officer ASP Sundai Hosea expressed gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries, assuring the command of their continued dedication and commitment to improving service to the nation.
