Adebayo's Supporters Advocate for His Presidential Candidacy

Supporters of presidential candidate Prince Adewole Adebayo defended his suitability for the presidency at a press conference in Abuja on Saturday. Comrade Mark Adebayo, Chief Communication Adviser for the Prince Adebayo-Bugaje Presidential Campaign Council, stated that leadership should be evaluated based on performance and integrity rather than prior political experience.

He argued that Adebayo represents a "true third force" in Nigerian politics, contrasting him with established political factions. Mark Adebayo pointed out Adebayo's role as a commissioner on Liberia’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission in 2006, supported by the United Nations and ECOWAS.

He dismissed allegations regarding unpaid salaries at Captain TV as unverified. Adebayo's philanthropic efforts, including sponsoring 3,000 students on full scholarships and his successful business ventures, were also highlighted.

Mark Adebayo maintained that Adebayo's business and international experience demonstrate his capability for effective leadership, despite lacking previous major elective office.
