Nigeria and China Strengthen Partnership in Beijing Meeting

During a meeting in Beijing, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria and President Xi Jinping of China reaffirmed their partnership, emphasizing mutual respect and adherence to China's principles regarding Taiwan, which China considers an inalienable part of its territory. This meeting resulted in a joint statement highlighting Nigeria's commitment to these principles, reflecting a long-standing diplomatic relationship established in 1971.

Jafar Yakubu, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Nigeria-China Parliamentary Relations, reinforced Nigeria's stance on international law and bilateral agreements.
