Nigeria Cricket Federation Unveils Squad for Namibia Tour

The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) has officially named a 16-man squad for the upcoming tri-series tour in Namibia, which will include matches against the host nation, Namibia, as well as Hong Kong and China. The squad, which departed Nigeria recently, aims to build on recent performances and strengthen Nigeria's standing on the global cricket stage.

Captain Sulaimon Runsewe will lead the team, which features a mix of experienced international players and emerging talent. Notable inclusions are Chima Akachukwu and Miracl Akhigb, who return to the national setup after a period away.

The tour will be overseen by coach Leke Oyed and Tamuno John, with new head coach Stephen Magongo joining later. The NCF views this tri-series as a crucial opportunity for player development and international exposure, providing valuable competitive match experience against quality opposition.
