Nigeria Cricket Federation Unveils Squad for Namibia Tri-Series

The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) has named a 16-man squad for the upcoming Namibia Tri-Series, which will take place from June 18 to June 29. The tournament will feature host Namibia, along with teams from Hong Kong and China, and is part of Nigeria's preparations for future international competitions.

The squad will be captained by Sulaimon Runsewe, who is expected to lead the team in this highly competitive tournament. Zeal Ib, the NCF's media manager, stated that the selected squad is a blend of experienced players and emerging talent, providing the technical crew an opportunity to assess player development across different formats, including T20 and 50 overs.

Notable highlights of the squad include the return of Chima Akachukwu and Miracl Akhigb, who have rejoined the national team after spending time away. The team will be supervised during the early stages of the tour by coach Leke Oyed and Tamuno John, with Stephen Magongo recently appointed as head coach for high performance management.
