Nigeria Deploys Passport Team to UK for Enhanced Services

The Nigerian government has directed Kemi Nandap, the Comptroller-General of Immigration, to establish a specialized Passport Intervention Team from the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Headquarters for deployment to the United Kingdom. This initiative aims to improve passport services for Nigerians living in the diaspora.

Akinlabi confirmed that all digital passport application channels, including the Contactless Passport Application System, will remain fully operational during this intervention exercise. Additionally, the home delivery service for passport applications will continue to be available to applicants.

The Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service stated that the organization is committed to providing efficient, transparent, and responsive passport service delivery to Nigerians both at home and abroad.
