Atiku Abubakar Challenges Tinubu on Nigeria's Economy

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar responded to President Bola Tinubu's claims regarding Nigeria's fuel prices being lower than those in Kenya. Atiku's media aide, Phrank Shaibu, stated that while Nigeria may have cheaper fuel prices, the overall cost of living in Nigeria is significantly higher than in Kenya.

He argued that the comparison made by Tinubu was shallow and misleading, failing to consider critical economic indicators such as purchasing power and income levels. Atiku pointed out that Kenya's minimum wage is twice that of Nigeria's, which is set at 70,000 Naira.

This disparity highlights the economic challenges faced by Nigerians, who often wonder why their living conditions are worse despite the lower fuel prices. Atiku's remarks underscore the need for a more comprehensive analysis of economic conditions rather than focusing solely on fuel prices.
