Marwa Urges Nigerians to Prioritize Character Over Weapons

Chairman of the NDLEA, retired Buba Marwa, emphasized the need for Nigerians to exhibit character traits like discipline, loyalty, and resilience, rather than just relying on armed forces. Speaking at the Nigerian Military School's 38th-anniversary celebration, Marwa praised the school for instilling values that endure a lifetime.

He commended the Class of 1982 for producing two serving Service Chiefs and urged them to continue inspiring the next generation. Marwa stressed the importance of citizens with character in facing the nation's challenges, highlighting the significance of loyalty and discipline over just having weapons.

He encouraged the alumni to give back and serve as role models for future leaders.
