Nigeria to Host 2026 International Civil Service Conference

Nigeria is set to host the 2026 International Civil Service Conference (ICSC) from May 20-21, 2026, in Abuja. The conference will serve as a premier global platform for public service leaders, reform champions, and governance experts to discuss themes of "Reforms, Resilience, and Results." It will feature high-level plenary sessions, technical roundtables, and interactive engagements aimed at modernizing public service systems.

The event will be formally opened by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, emphasized the conference's role in strengthening reform momentum and advancing citizen-centered public service.

The ICSC will attract delegates from various countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, and several African nations, to share best practices and build strategic alliances for sustainable public service transformation. The conference will also showcase innovative solutions and practices in public service delivery.
