Nigeria's Local Content Forum Set for Late 2026 in Bayelsa

Nigeria's local content drive is advancing as upstream investment increases, with local operators acquiring divested assets. The current Nigerian Content Strategic Roadmap, effective from 2017 to 2027, has reached 61% local content.

The 15th edition of the Practical Nigerian Content Forum is scheduled for November 30 to December 3, 2026, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, organized by dmg Nigeria events in partnership with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board. The forum will focus on defining strategic priorities for the next decade of Nigerian Content implementation.

Wemimo Oyelana, Portfolio & Country Director of dmg Nigeria events, stated that the industry must shift its focus towards future requirements. The forum will cover areas such as mobilizing capital, project opportunities, advancing Nigerian Content, and policy and legislation.

It will feature various formats, including Strategic Leadership Panels and Executive Debates, to facilitate discussions among stakeholders.
