Akpabio Assures Nigerians of Overcoming Insurgencies

On Sunday, during an interdenominational church service at the National Christian Centre, Senate President Godswill Akpabio encouraged Nigerians to maintain hope in overcoming current insurgencies, similar to how the country has survived past political upheavals and pandemics like Ebola and COVID-19. Akpabio emphasized the importance of unity and prayer, particularly in light of ongoing insecurity and violence affecting communities.

He reflected on the trauma experienced by families due to kidnappings and violence, recalling the deep pain felt during the Nigerian Civil War. Akpabio assured the congregation that the current administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to restoring peace and security, urging citizens to pray for the release of captives and the defeat of terror and crime.

He reaffirmed the government's determination to address economic hardships and enhance security across the nation, highlighting the need for collective action and perseverance.
