Nigerian Army Opens Recruitment for Technical Roles in 2026

The Nigerian Army has announced a recruitment exercise under its 92 Regular Recruits Intake, specifically aimed at Nigerians with technical skills in areas such as marine operations, engineering, and mechanical work. Online registration for this recruitment will be open from September 16 to October 21, 2026.

The Army's statement, shared on its 𝕏 account, emphasizes the need for specialized personnel in military service, inviting applications from boat operators, marine mechanics, electrical and mechanical engineers, and other technical apprentices. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and aged between 18 and 35 years as of October 21, 2026.

The Army has also cautioned that the recruitment process is entirely free, advising prospective applicants against paying individuals or organizations that claim to offer recruitment slots. Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their applications online before the deadline.
