Nigerian Army Graduates 87 Soldiers for Security Operations

The Nigerian Army has graduated 87 newly trained soldiers from the 90 Regular Intake for deployment to various theatres of Operation FANSAN YAMMA. This graduation took place on a Friday at the 1 Division Training School, Dalet Barracks, Kawo, Kaduna.

Major General Abubakar Sadique Muhammad Wase, the General Officer Commanding 1 Division and Commander of Sector 1, was represented by Brigadier General TM Opurum at the ceremony. The training, approved by Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, Chief of Army Staff, aimed to enhance army formations and operational readiness.

Soldiers underwent training in field operations, live-fire drills, tactical motorcycle operations, and more, designed to prepare them for security challenges. The training also tested their physical and mental endurance through simulated combat conditions.

Lieutenant Colonel Pharouk Mohammed confirmed that the graduates met required standards and were ready for their duties. The ceremony included military demonstrations and concluded with the presentation of certificates to the graduates.
