Nigerian Army Dismantles Terrorist Networks Nationwide

The Nigerian Army has reported significant operational success in dismantling terrorist logistics networks across multiple theaters within a 24-hour period. Troops from the 192 Battalion executed an ambush against ISWAP terrorists near Kuranabassa village in Gwoza, Borno State, resulting in the recovery of an AK-47 rifle and ammunition.

The 27 Task Force Brigade, in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), intercepted three vehicles suspected of transporting terrorist logistics in Yusari, leading to the arrest of five individuals and the recovery of various logistical items. Additionally, the 12 Brigade conducted checkpoint operations in Kogi State, apprehending two suspects and recovering 314 rounds of ammunition.

In Katsina State, the 17 Brigade destroyed several terrorist life support structures. The operations also included the discovery of approximately 3,250 liters of suspected illegal refined petroleum products in River State.
