Nigerian Army Opens 91RRI Recruitment Portal for 2026

The Nigerian Army has officially announced the commencement of online registration for the 91st Regular Recruit Intake (91RRI), which will accept applications from tradesmen and non-tradesmen across Nigeria. The recruitment portal will be open from Sunday, March 30, 2026, until Saturday, May 17, 2026.

This annual exercise provides eligible young Nigerians the opportunity to enlist as soldiers. Applicants must meet specific conditions, including presenting a valid certificate of state origin.

Interested candidates are required to apply online, ensuring that their applications are complete and submitted correctly, as failure to do so will result in disqualification. Successful applicants will be invited for a physical screening exercise at designated centers in their states of origin, which will include a physical fitness test, medical examination, and document verification.

The shortlist of candidates will be published on the Nigerian Army recruitment website, with the screening expected to take place from June 9 to June 23, 2026. Successful recruits will enjoy various benefits.
