Nigerian City of Aba Achieves Over a Month of Uninterrupted Power Supply, Praises for Reliable Electricity Delivery

Aba City in Nigeria has set a remarkable record of more than a month without power outages, thanks to Aba Power Electricity Ltd's consistent electricity supply. The Geometric Power Ltd-operated 188-megawatt thermal plant in Osisioma Industrial Layout has been pivotal in ensuring reliable power generation.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Ltd (NNPC) and Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) collaboration has enhanced the natural gas supply to the Geometric Power facility in Ukwa West Local Government Area. The Southeast Leadership of ECAN has commended Aba Power for its efforts in ensuring stable electricity supply and urged federal authorities to replicate the model nationwide.
