Ogun Pastor and Wife Found Dead After Domestic Dispute

Abidemi Odukoya, an evangelist of the Celestial Church of Christ, and his wife, Adenike, reportedly died after a domestic dispute at their residence in the Akinode/Ibogun community, Ogun State, on August 25. The altercation escalated into a physical confrontation, leaving Adenike unconscious and injured.

A former Chairman of the Community Development Association, Adejimi Olawumi, responded to cries for help from neighbors and discovered Adenike in a pool of blood. He noted that there were no vehicles available to take her to the hospital immediately.

The couple's son stated he did not witness the incident as he was in another room. As community members searched for Abidemi, they learned he had been struck by a vehicle in the Ifo area.

The police transported him to the hospital, where his identity was confirmed. The community expressed shock over the incident, stating that while the couple occasionally fought, they had never seen such violence before.
