Dr. Abiola Salami Launches 'No More Shrinking' Play

Dr. Abiola Salami, a renowned performance strategist and author, introduced the play "No More Shrinking" in Lagos to empower Nigerian women and encourage them to unlock their full potential.

The initiative aims to go beyond merely celebrating women, focusing instead on driving leadership development and economic growth. The play, which will be staged on March 28 at Terra Kulture, features actors including Imoh Eboh, Chinonso Young, Umesiobi Tosin Adeyemi, Uch Elumelu, Miriam Peter, Joi Nmezi, and is directed by Austin Onuoha.

Dr. Salami highlighted a common trend observed over 13 years of coaching senior women executives across various industries, noting that cultural conditions often lead women to compromise their potential, which negatively impacts their performance and growth.

The play combines theatre, music, and dance to raise awareness about these issues, emphasizing that when women operate at full capacity, companies perform better, and economies expand.
