Atiku, who holds the traditional title of Zege Mule U Tiv II, expressed his commitment to leadership that provides safety and hope, recalling the significance of his title as a reminder of his responsibilities. He criticized the APC for dismissing opposition concerns regarding budget implementation and security funding, noting that Senator Monguno's recent questions validate the opposition's long-held views about the government's handling of security issues and budgetary allocations.
