Igboho Advocates Support for Tinubu's Security Measures

On Friday, Yoruba nation activist Chief Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho, emphasized the importance of Nigerians supporting the security measures implemented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration for the nation's economic growth. He made these remarks during the launch of the Iru Ekun Security Network in Ado Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State.

Igboho highlighted that the government's economic reforms would only be effective with improved security. He called for collective support for security agencies to combat criminal activities, particularly in the South West.

Igboho asserted that the establishment of the Iru Ekun Security Network, approved by President Tinubu, aims to eradicate banditry and ensure the safety of communities. He recalled past abduction incidents in Oyo State, stressing the need for traditional rulers to report security breaches to the Iru Ekun for prompt action.

Igboho expressed a commitment to restoring peace and security in Yorubaland.
