On Friday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria triumphed over Iran's Team Melli with a score of 2-1 in an international friendly match at Corendon Airlines Park in Antalya, Turkey. The match saw Moses Simon score the opening goal just six minutes into the game, following a precise pass from Samuel Chukwueze.

Nigeria dominated the first half but could not extend their lead before halftime. In the second half, Ademola Lookman provided a clever pass to Jerom Akor Adam, who doubled Nigeria's advantage.

Iran responded with a goal from Mehdi Taremi, but Nigeria managed to maintain control of the game. Coach Eric Cheyelle utilized substitutions to keep the energy levels high, introducing players like Paul Onuachu and Chidera Ejuke.
