NiMet Warns of Thunderstorms and Floods Across Nigeria

For Monday, sunny skies were forecasted in the northern region, with thunderstorms and moderate rains expected in Taraba, Adamawa, and Kaduna States. Thunderstorms were anticipated later in the day across Borno, Bauchi, Gombe, Jigawa, Katsina, Kano, and other northern states.

In the North Central region, thunderstorms were predicted over Plateau, Niger, Nasarawa, and the Federal Capital Territory. The southern region would also experience moderate rains in states including Ondo, Ogun, and Lagos.

On Tuesday, similar weather patterns were expected, with thunderstorms forecasted in various states. By Wednesday, partly cloudy skies were predicted for the northern region, with chances of light rains in some areas.
