NIPR Kogi Chairman Advocates Continuous Learning for PR

Ismaila Isah, the Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Kogi State Chapter, called on public relations practitioners to prioritize continuous learning and capacity building to stay relevant in the evolving communications industry. This statement was made during the NIPR Third Quarter Induction Ceremony for 2026 held in Abuja, where 310 new members were formally inducted into the professional body.

Isah congratulated the inductees and encouraged them to uphold the ethics of the profession while utilizing the institute’s resources for career advancement. He highlighted the need for practitioners to continually update their skills to meet emerging trends and challenges.

Isah also presented copies of a book by Ahmed Balarabe to the inductees, promoting active participation in the institute’s programs. Dr Ike Neliaku, President and Chairman of the NIPR Governing Council, urged the new members to view themselves as stakeholders in nation-building and to uphold professional ethics while contributing to national unity and development.
